Scope

- Design, build, start-up & commissioning, including 16,000 hours of integral maintenance
- Sludge drying is based on proprietary ELODRY® concept for low temperature sludge drying

- Production capacity is 1,000 tons / year of dried sewage sludge
- ELODRY® low temperature sludge drying facility 1 x NT16
- Input is 23 - 25 % ds dewatered sewage sludge
- Sludge drying performance is > 90 % ds
- Maximum evaporation capacity is 440 kg H20 / h
System & Technologies
- Integrated design for civil, mechanical, electrical and automation works
- Low temperature belt dryer including exhaust gas treatment based on 1-step chemical scrubbing and discharge to existing bio-bed facility
- Screw conveyor systems for feeding dewatered sludge to the dryer
- Screw conveyor systems for discharge of dried sludge to disposal facility
- Disposal facility consisting of automatic loading for 2 containers
- Thermal energy is provided by a sewage gas fueled boiler and hot water circuits and recuperation facilities
- All safety (Ex) systems are included
- Integrated electrical and control system for plant autonomous operation
- Execution of all related civil works and underground piping
- Erection of the pre-fabricated plant, including all on-site mechanical and electrical installatin works
- Start-up and commissioning as well ongoing plant performance optimization
Special Features
- The system is constructed as a pre-fabricated modular plant based on 40 ft container housings
- The project includes an overall maintenance responsibility for 16,000 operating hours after final commissioning
- Project is implemented under Dutch uniform turn-key conditions UAV_GC 2005
